Born December 19, 1991, Jenelle Evans let MTV cameras into her life in 2009 to document her teenage pregnancy. She gave birth to son Jace in August 2009 and her episode of 16 & Pregnant aired in February 2010. The cameras continued to follow Evans’ journey on the 16 & Pregnant spinoff Teen Mom 2, which has been on the air for more than eight seasons.

With Jace’s father, Andrew Lewis, out of the picture, and Evans struggling with substance abuse, the MTV star signed over custody of her son to her mother, Barbara Evans, during a January 2011 episode of the docueries. Evans and Barbara have been an ongoing custody battle over Jace ever since.

Evans has had her fair share of run-ins with the law over the years. She has been arrested 15 times, including for breaking and entering and drug possession in North Carolina with her ex-boyfriend Keiffer Delp in October 2010.

Evans was briefly married to Courtland Rodgers in 2012. She accused him of domestic violence during their relationship. Evans welcomed her second child, a son named Kaiser, with Nathan Griffith in June 2014. Months after the pair got engaged, they split in August 2015. After their breakup, Evans started dating David Eason. The duo welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ensley, in January 2017, and tied the knot that October.

After tweeting homophobic remarks in February 2018, Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2.
