British personality Oli London has attracted a lot of attention for getting over a dozen surgeries to look like his icon, K-pop star Jimin. He’s spent over $150,000, and he's really changed his looks.

London made headlines for the first time in October 2018 when it was reported that his love for Korean boy band BTS – particularly bandmember Jimin – made him spend about $105,000 on surgeries.

He confessed he was living in South Korea when BTS debuted in 2013. As soon as he watched the band performing on TV, he was “just amazed” by all of them.

London, who admitted to being “obsessed” with Jimin, wants to look like his idol because he is “perfection.” He’s also worked hard so that his life revolves around K-pop.

By 2020, London had already spent $150,000 on surgeries. In an episode of "Dr. Phil," Oli London detailed some of the facial features he has surgically modified, including his jaw bone, chin bone, cheekbone, nose, and eyes.

The British personality pointed out that due to all the surgeries, his entire face is numb. Even smiling feels “uncomfortable,” but London “loves” being in recovery.

He admitted he feels great for about two months after having a medical procedure done, but that sensation eventually wears off. When it does, he begins thinking about what he could do next to look more like his idol.

Before surgery, Oli London’s real face was a target for bullies. He said he had “very bad acne” and believed that his romantic partners cheated on or rejected him because of his looks.

London’s medical procedures changed his personality, as well. He used to be a shy and anxious man, but he’s now “super confident.” He even started his K-pop music career with his song “Perfection.”

During London’s appearance on “Botched,” Dr. Nassif told him that he would get necrosis if he had another nose operation as he has already undergone five rhinoplasties.

Many doctors have refused to operate London, but he flies “around the world” until someone says yes. It is important to point out that he’s been accused of cultural appropriation a few times.

London defended himself by saying that he was not changing his race. He admitted to respecting the Korean culture and that it was not cultural appropriation but "cultural appreciation." Oli London’s obsession with Jimin is frowned upon by many as he has been bullied online.

In May 2021, trolls claimed he was dead. Even Instagram believed the fake news and memorialized his account. Fortunately, the problem was eventually solved, and he currently has over 240,000 followers.
